Translated from the Spanish original. Where they differ, the Spanish one holds.
What it answers: what a money word means, with an example in numbers (block B6 of the plan of 15 October 2026).
Method
- Each term is in
projects/glossary-lens/src/terms.json, a file with a version (version) and a date (updated). Adding or correcting a term does not touch the code; the build checks it (English and Spanish, a one-sentence definition, an example with numbers, and that the related tool, if any, exists). - The definitions are general and informative: they describe the word and never recommend a product, a fund or a decision.
- The examples use round, hand-made numbers; the figures with a formula were checked with the formula itself (for example, €1,000 at 5 % for 10 years = €1,629; a VIX of 20 ≈ 5.8 % a month).
- A term links to the Horalis tool that uses it only if the hub shows that tool.
Limits
- Short definitions: they do not replace a manual or an adviser.
- Some words change meaning by country or law (the TAE in Spain, the APR in the US); the glossary gives the general sense.
- The Dutch interface is built but hidden; the terms have no Dutch version yet.
