Roadmap
Where Horalis is going, step by step, and what is still missing today.
The steps
Each step only starts when the one before meets its condition.
-
Tools people use. Today: Horalis Growth. We are here
Next step when: people keep using them, month after month.
-
Free tools for developers that others adopt. Not yet
Next step when: others build on them without being asked.
-
A platform others depend on: European hosting, data and identity. Not yet
-
Infrastructure at continental scale. Not yet
Still missing
The gaps behind each Partly and Pending on the principles page.
- Find a European home for the code. Today it is kept on GitHub, in the US.
- More of the EU's 24 official languages. Today: English and Spanish.
- A WCAG audit by people, and a public accessibility statement.
- Tests with real people, children and older people included.
- A public list of changes to each method.
Free tools for developers
Horalis Growth is made of pieces other tools could reuse. We plan to publish them one by one. None is published yet.
On-device calculation Planned
Money math that runs in the browser, checked by property tests. No server sees your numbers.
No storage Planned
State that lives in memory only. To keep your work, you download a file and load it back yourself.
Multilingual Planned
Typed dictionaries, numbers written each language's way, and a test that keeps every language plain.
Accessible Planned
Controls with 44 px targets, AA contrast, full keyboard use and short announcements for screen readers.
Connections on the map
The outer ring of the front page's map: pieces still to come, each built on the tools.
Export Planned
A result as CSV or JSON, with its source and year, for a spreadsheet.
Case library Planned
Worked examples of real questions, each with its figures and sources.
AI connector Planned
An assistant could use the tools' calculations, with their sources.
